Aurorix smiled as the stag lowered his head in acknowledgment. Though, then he, the gentleman he appeared to be, addressed the other mare. She suppressed a grimace as Seraph offered her name. Rix glared as the stag smiled at her and took a step towards her. A flash of anger crossed her visage along with a fleeting glance of disappointment and unsurety. In that short second, there was such hatred for the other mare and the attention that was stolen from her that she wanted to strike her. Though, she calmed herself quickly, pulling back into herself so far that she lost herself for a moment. What was so wrong with her that the stag would glance away? The question echoed in her mind, What is wrong with me? Perhaps she was jumping to conclusions. She was beautiful; she knew this. Others had told her. So why didn't this stag pay more attention to her? Her insecurities made her mood foul, and she couldn't help but glare at the other mare once again. What was so special about her anyway?
"So my lady, what brings you out here? I'm just passing by myself, not much here, Well apart from you two lovely ladies now." He had turned back to her. Interested again. He was smiling and she smiled back, immediately perking up. "You've got to be careful now, cant stay astray for too long, theres word going round of some kind of war going on here. Do be careful." He seemed genuine in his warning though she laughed lightly. "Oh yes I know. I think I can handle myself though," she blinked a few times, her lashes fluttering. Though, of course in the prospect of actually fighting she would run screaming; hooves would mar her flawless pelt! Goodness gracious, no. The snow around them leaving behind mud already made her angry when it splashed against her bodice. It would be most unsightly.
"What part in this noble cause do you plan to play, handsome Karai?" she asked, drawing out his name and smiling seductively to the side. He would think her more beautiful than the other mare, whom she refused to think of in name any longer. She would be more beautiful, she was more beautiful. She wouldn't let this whore take that away from her.

Seraph’s temper flared at his question. Just because she had not thrown herself at him, he asked whether a cat had her tongue? She switched her tail in annoyance. “Oh? And just how would you go about helping me with my composure? ” Seraph asked, attempting to control the mocking lilt that wanted to creep into her tone. She eyed him as he took a step nearer her, her eyelids narrowing imperceptibly. He only remained close to her for a second, then stepping towards Rix, a foolish smile plastered on his face. She allowed herself a toss of creamy mane, as if to say that she did not mind the fact that he chose to withdraw his attentions from her, to bestow them on the other mare. She considered joining in their conversation, but upon hearing Rix’s syrupy words, she grimaced, turning away. The snow stretched invitingly before her and for a moment all she wanted was to leave these two, whom she had concluded that she thoroughly disliked. She was on the brink of cantering off without a backward glance, but then a malicious grin touched her perfect features. She had caught Rix’s glare, clearly implying that she should back off. She would not care less if Karai chose Rix over herself, but was amused by the thought of tormenting the two, just a bit. She had not yet done anything to deserve Rix’s jealousy and she could not wait to see what would happen if she did.

“Oh? And just how would you go about helping me with my composure? ” He blinked back to the smaller mare, she had taken his words wrong, he hadnt meant to upset her. "I'm sorry, i ddint mean it like that, i was just playing around, but i guess it hit you in a sore spot, please dont be offended. Your just unusualy quite for a mare, well of the ones i have met anyways." He smiled gently, trying not to think of her, the one he lost so very long ago, for this mare who claimed herself as Seraph reminded him so much of her. He quickly glanced away from them both, not wanting them to see the hurt across his face, he couldnt take this anymore, it was becoming too much for him. Though before he could leave the other mare spoke "Oh yes I know. I think I can handle myself though," He nodded, sure that she would be able to, she seemed strong willed, enough to look after herself and another per say. He took a step forward, though words hit his audits once more. "What part in this noble cause do you plan to play, handsome Karai?" He turned looking at the roan, Rix. "Me? Well i dont plan on taking much part in this, unless i happen across it, then perhaps i shall. Well i bid you ladies a good bye, and hope to see you soon, take care" He took of into the trees, his dapple blue form mingling with the shadows, turning him near invisible.

aurorix Rix's ears swiveled at the anger in Seraph's tone. Karai had done nothing to deserve that, but she felt a satisfaction that the other mare seemed to dislike him. Though, when he began to apologize, it soured that satisfaction. He was quite nice, not wanting to have offended her and all, though Rix couldn't care less. She glared over at Seraph, not even trying to hide it this time. She did not like this mare. Though, as Karai started to speak, her attention turned back to him, ears perked and eager to hear what he had to say. Though, as he finished and turned away, fleeing, she couldn't help but let her mouth fall open as she watched his retreating back. Then she turned, suddenly livid, eyes narrowed and ears pinned. "Why did you do that?!" she asked, hissing at the other mare. If she hadn't of been so rude, perhaps he would have stayed. Her anger flared and she stomped her hoof, almost growling, before turning and cantering in the direction the large stag had disappeared to. Or maybe it was just away from that mare. Oh, she did not like her! She snorted, emphasizing her thoughts as she picked up a faster gait. It was unfortunate that he had taken off like he had, and she probably wouldn't be able to find him again. It was worth a shot, she supposed, though if her search led her to meet someone else instead, another handsome stag, she wouldn't mind that much either.
// 260 words Rix doesn't like Seraph, though she doesn't like most mares, so it's not unusual. They steal her spotlight, and she's too insecure to deal with it, or think anything otherwise. She's quite a mess, but fun. xD sooo...idk. end of this thread? it seems to have come to an unexpected close. xD
