Time is up Out of luck should've stood up when you had the time Deep breaths? Who took deep breaths at a time like this?! Snorting, her nostrils flared wide she pranced in place for a few seconds before finally deciding to take heed to his words and sucking the oxygen into her lungs as she grounded her feet. She wasn't completely alone - not yet. A chance... a very slim chance. But a chance all the same. Karuk seemed different. And he addressed the mare he was with as Seraph - not Shika. What had happened to Shika? Heck she didn't even know who the last alpha was anymore. This distressed her even more. Rama could have another alpha on his side. Her audits flicked back for a second. "Karuk. Who's the fourth Alpha? And who's side are they on?" she said, standing up a little taller before pawing at the ground - her wits slowly coming back to her as she concentrated on the battles before them. She wasn't alone. She had people to help. She would go find Oser - she would find others who would fight. And she would help. Pausing she finally allowed his plan to slid through her brain and things to connect. "Okay. Sounds good. I'll find others and help fight." with a break she gently nudged his shoulder. "Be safe, Karuk. Trust your eagle." Then, sliding over to this 'Seraph' she bumped her nose against the mare's shoulder. "You too. Karuk can fight if he has too - just listen to him." she said before kicking up her heels and spinning back to where she came from. "I better see you after this fight," she told the two of them before swishing her tail and sliding off into the forest to look for others. Her hawk circled the two of them for a moment - wings gliding close to their backs before going straight up into the sky and after Rasta with a loud, shrill call. They had a chance... Karuk's face hardened at her question. Who indeed, was the fourth Alpha? And who's side was she on? He didn't know. It wasn't his business any longer. "I do not know." He said flatly, shifting his weight and looking away. She could very well be on his side. He didn't know. It didn't seem so far fetched, considering. She had probably been lying to him from the very beginning. Yes, she hadn't told him who she was to start with, but what she said about herself after that? He was foolish to believe her. What if she had been working for Ramaskith the whole time? It was a good possibility. It would explain some of what had happened. He shook his head softly, wish she hadn't brought up her absence. She didn't pay much attention to his reply though, her mind already settling into the obstacles right in front of them. He smiled softly, "I will," he replied, looking over at the winged creature as he hopped around on the ground. Kilton had never lead him wrong. She spoke to Seraph briefly before turning and cantering away. He snorted softly, "We'll all make it through this Rasta!" He called, her daemon brushing against his back before flying off as Kilton screeched a goodbye, echoed by the hawk. He glanced at Seraph, "I guess we'll be on our way." He said, picking up a trot and ignoring the questions left unsaid.

Seraph smiled weakly at Rasta, wishing she had time to get to know the slight Alpha better. She seemed like a mare who had a story to tell, if only someone would listen. She felt the pressure of the other mare’s muzzle on her shoulder and heard the soft words spoken before Rasta was off again, a speck in the distance before Seraph could react. For a long moment she stood staring after her, then turned back to Karuk. As if he had been waiting for her to react, Karuk began to trot away and Seraph followed silently, covering the ground between them in a couple smooth strides. High above them Kilton wheeled in the sky, a beacon leading on. Seraph just hoped that someday he would lead them home, if there was such a place within Forma Silvestris anymore. .................... Super short, but for an end-post I supposed it's alright.
