You don't know how you've betrayed me, And somehow you've got everybody fooled... Risk watched as her patronus faded in the soft glow of the sunrise. She had just met her patronus, a graceful cheetah, when the darkness came, devouring everything except her own nose. And then out of no where, a bright glowing light in the shape of a cheetah, it made her warm, and they could hear each other's thoughts. Do you have to leave now? Risk thought, looking down upon her patronus. It would be wise, yes, but I don't have to. Risk heared along with her own thoughts, and she sighed, deep and long. Go if you need to. The cheetah looked up at her a shook her head.
Risk watched as the sun grew higher and higher and her cheetah started to fade more and more. Suddenly, Risk set off at a slow canter, the winter wind licking at her face and legs, chilling her as the first flakes of winter started to fall. The cheetah loped next to her, making less then a whisper as the trees thinned and they came to a clearing, Risk slowed, her heart thrumming against her rib cage. Winter. Another winter alone. She needed a mate. The cheetah looked up at her questioningly... opps, she had forgotten the cheetah could hear what she was thinking, and she shook her head, dismising it. Risk lowered her head and snatched up the crunchy grass, and soft flakes started to thicken, landing on her nose and pelt and melting. The snow went through her patronus and disolved. Risk flicked her tail, she could really use some company, even though being alone was nice sometimes, she wished she had company right now. The cheetah looked at her, and Risk snorted. 'I mean like another horse or two.' The cheetah shook it's head and dissapeared. 'Wait! No! Come back!' Risk hadn't meant to upset her patronus. Risk hung her head and snatched at the grass angrily. Something touched her back leg and her head shot up instictively and clamping her tail down. The cheetah appeared from behind her, snickering. You really thought I would just leave by a little comment like that? Risk snorted and flicked her tail at the cheetah, but it just went through it. The patronus grinned.
Risk's leg was still warm from where her cheetah had touched it, and it was nice compared to the winter wind. The cheetah walked and layed under her belly, warming it slightly, and Risk shook the flakes out of her mane and off her nose. Thanks, she thought, and felt the cheetah touch her leg again.

Yiska slinked through the trees, feeling rather trapped, though it wasnt as bad since the trees werent all that tightly packed together. He took in a deep breath pushing himself further, ignore the tall, tall trees looming above him. He gulped down his fear. Its okay, everythings okay, just keep going, keep walking. He sighed, watching as each hoove placement hit the floor. Just as he was about to make another step, he notice a small artic fox sitting on the ground. Oh great what are you doing here? He only had to think the words for it was his patronos, and they were linked through their minds. Im here to help you remeber, since your such a stupid fool. The little fox seemed to be mocking him, just like he alwasy did. Yiska turned and heaed away from the fox, here the trees folded out into an opening, where a small stream ran through the woods. You cant rid of me that easily Yiska, i will always be with you, fool. The fox seemed to be laughing at him now. Yiska tunred on him, "Stop doing that!" He lashed out at the fox, only finding doing so gave him a headache. "Urghhh why are you so annoying, why do you always have to pick on me like this? whats wrong with you? why cant you just be nice to me, why cant anyone just be nice to me!" Yiska huffed and threw himself to the ground in a mad rage, but also just annoyed with the world, his life had only shown him hatred, punishment and death. Well almost death. The stones werent a very comfty place to rest, to un even and spiky. He pushed himself up and headed over to the stream. The fox followed him silently. Yiska marched into the streeam and led down into the cool waters, refreshing his mind, reliveing him of his tension, enjoying the feel of the little space of open air. His aubs flicked, picking up a voice of another equine, it sounded feminine, but another entwined with it. They sounded far off, possibly not even headed this way, nothing for him to worry about for now.

Furthermore, I apologize for any skipping tracks. It's just the last guy that played me left a couple cracks...
Raine shimmied her way through the edges of the shadowed forest. Her whole body trapeezing between the broken, lowered branches and the protruding roots from the forest floor. "Hah. How do you like this, darling," she taunted, moving at a faster pace than her Patronus who was loping behind her at a lazy pace. "If you continue to be this slow you'll never be able to warn me of things ahead of time," she continued, swishing her tail up and allowing it to twirl around her hind legs, then slide it's way free as it blew out behind her seductively. A laugh on her lips she sped up from her trot into a canter, her feet barely touching the ground and her hindquarters rocking back and forth, side to side with the rhythm which her hooves were producing with the crunching of the leaves below her sharp, polished hooves. Oh, really? I won't be able to. Mind you, there is an eagle flying above you to your left, little mare... he said a chuckle on his lips as he curled them up into one of those creepy wolf grins which a maned wolf could only produce. She shook her head, allowing herself to come to a complete halt and spun around. I remind you, Rama will not be too happy to find that you got absolutely no recruits for his war when Winter has already come 'round... he chided and she pinned her ears, snapping out at the animal and only getting air. Oh shush. I'm just telling you stuff you already know. Except I'm the smarter one in this group, he laughed and moved ahead of her. Raine immediately shrilled up, closing her eyes slowly. "You are not the smarter one, darling. You are part of me..." she reminded him and he merely shook his tail at her and continued forwards. If you'd like to get one I would follow me... he alerted her before going out into a leap and bound sort of run which Raine nearly mimicked while keeping her steps graceful. A few bats of her eyelashes and her blue eyes shone in the light which was coming down. And even though it was winter her black coat allowed her some sense of warmth to her body as it attracted more warmth than those with a light coat. She was still the fairest of the land. She was but certain of it. Anyone who dared to come close had been taken care a long time ago, even if had meant killing off quite a few foals in the process. She would do what was needed to keep playing her game. Her game. The game she lived. The game she breathed. The game that consumed her thoughts. The game that consumed her actions. The game was who she was and who she would always be, no matter how close to death it brought her. Even if it brought her to a horrid, rotting grave where her body could deteriorate. It was her game. And her game to keep up with. It was who she was. And she never planned on changing. So with a new target in mind she bounded forwards, her ears forwards and a look of innocence plastered upon her face. She would 'stumble' upon this stag and play to his needs in such a time as winter. It was how she worked. And winter was the best time of year... Like lalala, make your eyes roll back... I mean you really fine though, I just wanna see you with the lights off. The sound a another voice in the distance caused Risk's head to bob up from her graze, her audits pricked forward, they weren't far off. Company. Shae thought, and the cheetah rolled it's eyes. Risk set off at a canter, her muscles rippling under her coat, and the cheetah loped at her side. Risk made barely a sound except for the grunching of grass and then leaves as she entered the forest once more. Her legs stretched out from under her she started to speed up and the cheetah easily stayed with her, she lofted her tail up, and it flew out behind her like a long banner, and she tossed her head playfully. She faintly heared a crunch of leaves not coming from her, and not far away. Her cream colored hooves pierced the leaves below, making small crackling sounds, and she arched her neck, and approached the horse, a cream stag that had brown sabino paint markings, and slowed, and a ebony mare came out at the same time, followed by a patronus, a manned wolf. The stag also had one, a fox. So there were more.
'Hello,' Risk said softly, her neck still arched, and she swung her dished head to look at the cheetah which was watching the other two patronuses. She smiled faintly at both of them. 'I am Risque, or Risk,' she added, and waited for them to respond. The wind had not reached this part of the forest, and the snow was not falling through the thick canopy of leaves yet, which made it warmer and her cheetah helped as she leaned into her, warming her left side.
Do you know them? Risk thought, and yet the cheetah didn't move, her mind clear. Odd. Did she know them? Probably. Risk's waited for one of the two to answer, and wondered what her patronus was up to. They couldn't be that bad, could they?

Yiska jumped to his feet as the sounds other other equines filled his ears. Too close for comfort, too close! He spun round, to find two mares approaching him, ganging up on him. His heart raced, panic ran thick through his veins, adrenaline pumping. This was not good, not goo at all The fox followed him, though with less of a fright to his actions, he span round, his bushy tail flicking into his nose, a cheetah and a manned wolf stood near. Then he too felt fear, he was no match fopr eother of these animals, all but a meer snack to them both. He was so small and insignificant. He backed up into Yiska brushing his legs with his tail, causing Yiska to make an unatural noise , making a dash up stream. His cream legs whiped through the stream with ease, leaving the sound of violent splashing in his wake. His heart pumped faster and faster. he could feel the blood runing thick through his veins, channeling the power of his short, but muscular frame. The fox watched as Yiska disapear up stream. He turned and glanced back to the other. "Oh im sorry for him, he just is rather scared, Do excuse us" And with that, the fox followed after Yiska.
Yiska stopped pretty far up stream, where he was sure they couldnt see him anymore. He stopped water rushing around his ankles as he breathed heavy, lowering his head trying to get his breath back. He could hear the feint splashing of another encraoching upon him, but that he knew was his patronos, he didnt move, just waited for the thing to pick on him once more. "Yiskaa, what are you doing? stop hiding, you have to face your fear at some point" The little fox spoke with a hint of breathlessness, possibly worn out from the run too. Enjoy the run did we? we should do it more often. He spoke inside his mind, completely ignore what the fox had just said, even though he knew he was perfectly right. He did have to face his fear at some point, but the two of those mares coming towards him both at once, just gave him those bad memories back of that day. He shuddered at the thought, glancing at the small fox placed at his hooves. Your right, i do need to face my fear, but not right now, its too soon, i just cant cope He sighed and bearched his neck further down to reach the cool waters rushing by. He lapped at it gently at first and then more urgently as the cool waters filled his empty stomache, casuing a wierd sloshing sound as it hit home. Cooling down his sweaty pelt at the same time.

Now this looks like a job for me! Now everybody just follow me, cause we need a little controversy cause it feels so empty without me...
Raine slid to a stop, though she allowed her muscles to ripple as tiny pieces of sod blew up into her face. Snorting and narrowing her eyes at the misbehaving earth she shook off the pieces from her dished face and then looked over at the approaching mare. "Isn't it just ironic that your name is Risque?" she questioned this mare, her voice airy and filled with laughter. Swishing her charcoal tail she allowed the chilling wind to pull it out backwards making it look like a ribbon. "After all, it's quite a risk for you to even be here... might just slip. on the rocks in the water and go for a never ending dip. in the chilly water." her voice accenting and pausing for a few seconds after slip and dip. A tiny laugh slid through the air, echoing in the trees which surrounded them. Didn't she think it was just hilarious that such things could happen? And her name. Oh that was pure golden. But, her silvery blue coat. No. She would not stand for that. That little slip might occur very, very soon. Raine was the fairest in the land. TELL ME NOW! she started at her wolf who jumped into attention beside her, growling slightly at the cheetah, ignoring the stag and it's fox which were now bounding off into the river anyways. That you are the fairest in the land, but of course you are. And getting rid of those who might be is easy and ramming into them in that cold stream... her wolf alerted her, swishing his tail and waiting to see what might just happen next. The cheetah was too odd to be normal. She needed to go after that stag. Raine needed her games. But, this mare. She also needed to get rid of this mare. Shaking her head with another laugh she bolted to the other side of the river. "But, I think the irony might live to see the dawn of a new day..." Her wolf gave out an eery howl of warning and then trotted off after her.
""Oh im sorry for him, he just is rather scared, Do excuse us" the fox spoke. Raine laughed and shook her head. Scared... She could easily fix that. Shifting away she turned instinctively in the direction which he had fled the scene in. She knew he wouldn't have gone too far. At least, not at the speed he had been running from. Yes. She would easily catch him. He would need water, so stay along the stream. "Come back darling..." she called, "I'm not here to hurt you, just would like some company..." she continued before finally laying eyes upon his fox, and then allowing her gaze to move upwards to his sweaty pelt. "Have a good run?" she asked, shifting over closer to him, but leaving him plenty of room between them. "It's always nice to stretch out the muscles in this cold weather. Of course, it hasn't reached it's peak of torture yet. The winter here is always intimidating." she said, quietly and allowing her silken voice to travel to his ears upon the wind. "I'm Raine by the way..." she offered, awaiting his name without asking. After all, it was but etiquette to return a name. But, with that other mare. Oh that mare would never see her manners. She would get rid of that mare and she would stay the fairest. It was as simple as that. And she daren't think any farther than that she was and always would be...

N-n-now that don't kill me, can only make me stronger..... The stag saw both of them and suddenly bolted, sounds of giant splashings as he ran across the river. 'Oh im sorry for him, he just is rather scared, do excuse us.' Scared? What could the two of them do to him, a stag?! Risk snorted and looked at the mare as she started to speak to her, 'Isn't it just ironic that your name is Risque? After all, it's quite a risk for you to even be here... might just slip. on the rocks in the water and go for a never ending dip. in the chilly water,' she said. Risk snorted a laugh. 'Ah, you've got it confused, it is a risk for you to be around me. You might just turn away for a second and never look back.' Her cheetah stared at the manned wolf, her eyes unblinking, her eyes narrowed to slits, and her tail twitching back and forth. The mare started up again, 'But, I think the irony might live to see the dawn of a new day...' she said, and the wolf gave of a chilly howl. The mare laughed and shook her head, then started to trot after the stag. 'Come back darling... I'm not here to hurt you, just would like some company...' she said sweetly, too sweetly. She couldn't be trusted that fast, and Risk set off after her silently.
'...I'm Raine by the way...' was all she caught as she watched from some brush and trees, and Risk watched them, her coyote still twitching it's tail. Stop that, it's distracting. Risk thought and the cheetah gave a low hiss, only loud enough for her to hear. I don't like that wolf, something is off about him. the coyote thought, lowering her tail. Risk couldn't agree more, about both of them. Risk thought, and saw the coyote nod, before fading until you could only see her if you stared at her and she wasn't moving, then she bounded silently towards the others, unseen by anyone, even Risk. Be careful. Don't do anything. and she heared the coyote scoff in her head. As if. Risk wondered what her patronus was up to, and she walked forward, staying on the other side of the river, except that she could clearly see the other two and the other two could clearly see her. What was up with the other mare? She was acting too sweet for the way she had acted to Risk. The coyote was still unseen but she knew her patronus was there, listening.

Yiska stood glancing at his pretty white face in the reflection, upon the waters surface. He smiled, admiring himself for a little while. Only to find that one of the mares had quickly followed him. He sighed, he really couldnt be doing with these right now. a part of him twisted with anger. "Dont be such a scaredy pants Yiskaaa. Just face them im sure they wont hurt you He snarled at the fox "Stupid creature, you dont undersatnd anything do you? He lashed out, snapping at the fox, his temper ran high. One of the mares had found him, calling out to him. "Come back darling..." she called, "I'm not here to hurt you, just would like some company..." He snorted finding her comment rather stipid. Wasn't that what all the mares said? that they would never hurt you? then they go and back stab you, hide you away in a cave, to never see the sunlight again. He growled under his breath, sound more ferral than that of an equine. "Have a good run?" She spoke again, this time much closer, He breath heavy, his anger ran thicker with each word she spoke. His eyes seemed to shift. "It's always nice to stretch out the muscles in this cold weather. Of course, it hasn't reached it's peak of torture yet. The winter here is always intimidating." He breathed in and out heavier, nostrils flaring, gritting his teeth If that mare speaks one more word to me, im going to bite her head of. At that the fox appeared at his hooves, givving him a warning look. Yiska stared at him with menacing eyes, causing the fox to flee, vanishing in thin air. "I'm Raine by the way..." He turned instantly at that pawing the ground, nostrils flaring. "I dont care what your name is, Do i look like i want to know also? Do you really think i care that much about you. Leave me alone and get lost you pestering little creature He snapped at her speaking through clenched teeth. This was so not like him, Yiska, kind gentle Yiska. He had never been so angry and annoyed in his life, bnot even when the mare had captured him. With a flick of his tail Yiska lashed out at her teeth sinking into her nostril "Leave me alone, before i cause you more damage than you can handle..."

5, 4, 3, 2, 1 Bang! Bang! Bang! Boy! You're going Down, down, down, Boy The charcoal mare snapped back as soon as his teeth met her skin. Blood. God no. Not blood. She pinned her ears, rearing up even though she could feel her body wanting to give out and the world starting to slid into black. No. Forget the blood. Forget the sticky warm liquid that was sliding into her nostrils. No. This is not cool. She is going to kill this stag. "What the hell was that for you rotten bastard?!" she screeched, her wolf lurching forwards and pouncing on top of his fox. His teeth barred and attempting to sink into the fox's skin. "You will pay..." she hissed, landing and charging forwards snapping at his neck and attempting to take a chunk out of his skin. But the minute blood reached her mouth she broke free, spitting it and feeling faint again. It was easily noticeable as she staggered backwards, her eyes going dark. No. Stay awake. He needs to pay. Her wolf continued to fight the fox, not at all bothered by the fact that she might pass out. The stag would pay for hurting her. And the canine couldn't hurt this equine. So he would just hurt his patronus. It was almost as good as sinking his teeth into his flesh. Almost. It still wasn't the same. And he knew that Raine wouldn't be able to do what he wanted. She staggered back into a tree. "God. Blood. Please. Go away... I don't want to die..." she whispered before collapsing under the tree, her whole body shaking violently.
The darkness taking over. A black stag, a Freisian build with the feathers. The feathers. The hooves snapping into her spine, into her cranium. Into every part of her body. The snapping of her bones. The cracking. The horrible noises. And the blood. The blood covering her. It was the end of her. She was going to die. She would have died. Most definitely would have died if it hadn't had been for a gold mare. A gold mare she had betrayed by selling herself to Rama. All for the games. That gold mare had saved her. That gold mare. A healer. The mare wasn't. But her friend was. A healer. She was who she was. She needed to hurt people to get back at that stag. If she ever saw that stag again. The radiating pain. The blood going down her throat. The choking sensation. The blood in her nostrils. Her black coat now gleaming with red. Gleaming with blood...
She wanted it to end. She could feel the pain from where her bones had once been broken and she was taken back to that time as a foal. She had been so young. She shouldn't have lived. "I don't want to die, Rasta..." she whispered, before her body gave out from the massive amount of fear and imagined pain and her head dropped to the ground. She would come back in a few minutes but she needed the moment to recooperate. Her wolf, on the other hand was now trying to keep the fox on it's back, sinking it's teeth into the fox's right foreleg...

I never meant to hurt you! I never meant to make you cry..... 'What the hell was that for for you rotten bastard?!' Raine screached and her wolf landed on top of the fox. You will pay...' the mare said, and her cheetah appeared and landed onto of the wolf, snarling and teeth bared as she stood over the fox. Risk bolted towards the mare as she reached for the stag's neck, grabbing it and letting go quickly and Risk stopped dead when the mare staggered back, her eyes focused on something far away. 'God. Blood. Please. Go away... I don't want to die...' she whispered. What? What the hell was going on?! She had barely any blood on her. She collapsed under the tree, shaking violently. Risk turned and faced her, her back to Yiska, the stag, in the winter, and watched the mare, who was still shaking as bad as an earthquake. What was going on?
'I don't want to die, Rasta...' she whispered, and her head dropped to the ground. Sounds of her cheetah snarling at the manned wolf faded, what was wrong? Was the mare okay?
The cheetah watched as the manned wolf sunk his teeth into the poor fox's right foreleg, which could not survive if it didn't do anything, and suddenly the cheetah snarled, leaping forward at a blurring speed and nocking the wolf to the ground, and, off the fox. The cheetah stood on the manned wolf, and leaned closer, it's teeth grazing the wolf's neck and the quickly snapping to both the hind legs in a lethal grasp. If she had done that to the throat the wolf could of been dead already, but she would not do that, not kill the wolf, just immobilize it. Her teeth sunk deeper into the wolf's hind's legs. The sounds of cracking filled the cheetah's ears and she dropped the wolf's hind legs out of her mouth, and then put a paw, claws out, on it's chest. She could crack his ribs easily, just as easy as she could kill. Snap the neck. Suffocate. All too familiar. She swiped at his chest, hearing a few cracks, a few ribs cracked. The cheetah smiled, watching the wolf. 'Oh, I hope it doesn't hurt to bad. Pick on someone your own size next time,' the cheetah purred, then swiped her claws across his muzzle, and then bounding back to the fox, standing in front of it yet still watching the manned wolf.
Risk heared her cheetah say something to the wolf, which hind legs just dangled there, mangled up, along with a swipe across his muzzle and one across his chest, then bounding and standing in front of the fox. Risk looked back at the mare, who lay there, under a tree.
