An array of images passed his mind. Though of any sence that they made he could not decipher. Such strange things seemed to happen around him. Yet of that which did make sence still did not fully. Watching intently as the painted Sabino mare scrambled to her feet, though she also seemed to struggle all the same. His mahogany orbs watched, suspectently, seeing as the mare struggled but rough away the pain. Knowing all to well of these actions. Glancing between Rasta, the stag and back to the mare, he could see what was not really there. The troubles in the stage mind. Rasta's pure blindness, shielding her true emotions. And the mares dependency upon the stag. Though which none of them seemed to notice, all had one thing in common. Survival. Each and everyone of them wanted this more than anything.
The blind mare seeming as if forced ordered them to move over to some cave. Demanding that they all went without a quarrel. Though this happening was not likely, he could already see the different views upon each ones crowns. He knew however that the painted stag would follow, somehow seeming to know and trust Rasta with a different kind of love and respect to which he had with this Sabino mare. Though how different, was another story. One for another day. Hat is to say they all survived this ordeal with Rama. Perhaps he had chosen the wrong side, perhaps he should have taken sides with this so called brute. Maybe his destiny was really to fight. To save those that just destroyed all they were worth, being too weak to ever fight, always fleeing. Perhaps now he was just realizing his true potential.
Pouring out of the ditch, leaving the mare helpless, he pounded towards the blind leader. "No!" his voice came demanding and pushy, something head picked up from being a fighter. " Caves are the worst place. The wars leader will suspect hiding and will search the depths of places, places of solitude. If we hide we Will be found. we should stay in the open. Yes I know it's winter and times are hard, but just trust me, its something he would not expect, even creating an element of surprise, potentially confusing him, knocking of his guard. If you can get word out to all that reside here and join us in the open, perhaps we could save the north. " He prance around the mareas he spoke, hoping that she didn't deter his words. Or lack the trust in him. Knowing what he was doing here was a alight advantage, but perhaps this rama was more skilled than him. Perhaps he had two army's. And if this was so,then they would stand no chance. They would have to use flee, running from the fight, hoping that they could get away without that of injuries, or losses on their part. "Though make sure we have a hide out near by, incase we need to stay there. Though this is purely your choice you are the alpha here anyways." slowly he backed away from her lowering his head and showing respect towards her, hoping in any way that he had not offended her,for to do so was a deamon.

There ain't no time to waste You're just too blind (too blind) to see But in the end ya know it's gonna be me. You can't deny... Rasta stiffened, how dare he speak up to her in that voice. She did not feel like dealing with someone who back-talked her at this moment. "Apodis!" she snarled as he said "No!" his demand and pushiness radiating into her ears which immediately pinned against her skull. But he didn't listen to her reprimand and instead continued on. "Caves are the worst place. The war's leader will suspect hiding and will search the depths of places, places of solitude. If we hide we will be found. We should stay in the open. Yes I know it's winter and times are hard, but just trust me, it is something he would not expect, even creating an element of surprise, potentially confusing him, knocking off his guard. If you can get word out to all that reside here and join us in the open, perhaps we could save the north." She snapped out at his prancing, not easily amused at this moment. "Apodis! Goddammit stand still!" she hissed, kicking out in front of him - not hitting him - to warn him to stop. "Rama would not be caught off guard, my dearest. He would laugh and fight harder." she shook her head, looking to the mare and Karuk. They both needed to get out of this weather. It was best for them.
She let out a snort as her clear blue hawk circled the area before landing upon her back, letting out a short call before lifting off once more. He went over to Apodis, frolicking in his face to piss him off with one loud shriek in his ear before landing on Rasta's back again. "Though make sure we have a hide out near by, in case we need to stay there. Though this is purely your choice. You are the alpha here, anyways." he said as if to remind himself that he didn't have the position to be doing such a thing. He lowered his head in a form of respect before backing away slightly. "Fine. We will stay out in this horrid weather if you so wish. But if Karuk and his companion so wish to have a form of shelter I will gladly show them to a cave. Why don't you show us your little plan" she muttered, grumbling something under her breath before stepping back and making a motion with her head to indicate he had the right of way if he so wished. "I am not this weak mare you so believe I am. Do not make me show you what I am really like to those who don't deserve the pleasurable side." she said, pinning her ears and snapping at him in warning before releasing all of her emotional tension and awaiting to see what he so wished to do and what his exact plan was. "Yes, I'm okay, I believe. Are you?" He ignored her question, far more concerned about whether she was truly okay. He watched as she stood, paying close attention to her expressions and the appearance of any discomfort. She winced and he took a step forward, though she seemed to be stable, shaking and letting gathered dirt fall from her pelt. She took a step forward, looking over the edge, "Karuk, what happened to you?" The sharpness in her tone made him look back at where her eyes lay. "Hrmm?" He had already begun to forget about the wound, though now that it was brought back to his attention, the sliced skin began to throb sharply and he bit the inside of his mouth. The red looked awfully bright against his white stockings, making the wound appear worse than it was. It may sting and bite, but he knew that it was not of much importance. He turned back to Shika to assure her that it was nothing, though Rasta seemed to find the words before he could. "Wolves caught him, I believe. Didn't bother any muscle... more of a flesh wound..." Karuk nodded once, "It's nothing really. It will heal on it's own."
He lowered his head, brushing his nose against Shika's forehead comfortingly, "I am fine," he assured her, lifting his head back up to look at Rasta. What were they do to now? They were on her lands, under her command. He would rather not linger in the area, for fear more hungry wolves would appear from the shadows as they had before. She seemed to sense his thoughts, telling them to advance in the direction of a cave. She nudged him and he turned, moving to help Shika up the incline of the wall of the ditch, when the buckskin stallion spoke, sharply objecting against this plan.
Karuk stood there, dumbfounded at the way Apodis had spoken to Rasta; and he didn't quite agree with the idea either. He certainly did not wish to wait around, in the cold, out in the open, like a sitting duck! It was the very reason he and Shika had left the South! He jumped around, his impossible ideas giving him energy as he waited for Rasta to say something. Karuk's gaze flickered to the mare, wanting to know what she would say as well. She scolded him, as a mother would a foal, kicking in his general direction, but obviously not meaning to actually hit him. He snorted softly at her words, agreeing with a dip of his head. Yes, Ramaskith would most certainly laugh at them, paying them no mind as he ripped them apart. The thought made him shudder and he twisted, stepping down to stand next to Shika. No. Definitely not. He would not approve of this outrageous plan. Not ever. It put them all in danger with no hope of survival. He pressed his nose against her painted neck, exhaling softly.
His eyes fell back on the buckskin stag as he seemed to have realized his place, giving more suggestions but ending with saying it was her choice. Yes. Rasta was the Alpha here, it was her decision to make. And, he believe that Apodis failed to realize that another Alpha was here as well, and he was rather low on the chain of command with his current company. Though, what Rasta said next almost made him gape. She was agreeing? To go along with his plan? His ears flickered, unhappy with the turn in events. He held his tongue though, knowing his place rather than acting out in such a way as Apodis had. He seriously needed to learn some manners, at least with those superior to him. Karuk was beginning to truly dislike the stag.
Karuk cleared his throat, shaking his head. Finding the words to finally speak, "I do not agree with this idea," he started, promptly interrupted by Kilton; the eagle came gliding down from the sky, screeching and promptly diving at the buckskin stag, hitting his nose with a flap of his wings and slashing as his face with his talons. He obviously didn't like the way Apodis had spoken either. Karuk watched with wide eyes, Kilton circling back around and swooping into a nearby tree, screeching at the buckskin again. Karuk fought to keep from smiling, only barely succeeding. "And judging by that... Neither does Kilton..." He glanced at the large bird, wings flapping angrily, before returning his attention to the equines. "I would rather not sit around and wait for Ramaskith to descend upon us. I can assure you it will not end well. Your plan will surely backfire, and I do not wish to be caught in the blow." He looked to Rasta, wondering how she could possibly allow this. Surely she saw the absurdity of it all? She was there before, just as he had been. She had to understand that this would never work. He couldn't stand the thought of the few equines with the ability to seek refuge here, standing up against an oncoming army, only to be slaughtered mercilessly. She couldn't let that happen, could she?

The buckskin seemed a little pushing in his words. Not the sort of equine she would come to like. He was to headstrong, and a little self centered. "if you wish to wait out in the open for him, then do so on your own wishes, do not bring us into this,... This stupidity!" Her voice came emotionless, and dry. Something that was not a normalcy from her. She turned to head out the ditch, though Karuk also turned in aid to her. Though what happened next did indeed shock her. She gasped and pulled back, staring at the golden fae. She couldn't honestly be agreeing with him could she. She was just going to let this happen? At that Karuk began helping her out the ditch, but instead finding a way own to join her. Unconsciously, rubbing her nose along his neck line, pulling herself into his grasp. Searching for his underlying protection, Taking in his woodsy scent, hoping to never lose this. Him. He then spoke disagreeing with this buckskins words. Though he was right. They couldn't stay out in the open,it was wrong. Perhaps they should find shelter also and go of on their own. "Rasta let's not get too hasty now, Shall we? Say he is wrong in his actions. Say we all get massacred. What then? she pulled a head of Karuk advancing upon this fae. Finding a way out the ditch she pulled herself up and onto the embankment.
Shika pulled up alongside the fae, touching her upon her side. She was a little smaller than herself, though she held a different sence of being. She was well reformed and possibly wiser than she. Though this didn't doubt all Shika had become in such a short time. If she couldn't get Rasta to change stature, then she would just take her and Karuk else where. As the fae turned to her, she caught a glimpse of her unseeing eyes, staring blankly as if glancing into ones soul. She pulled back with a little gasp, shocked at what she saw. He back foot slipped on the edge, somehow Shika managed to keep her balance. Turning to see Karuk was shortly behind her. "We have to seek shelter n the safest place possible, but we meed acces to nutrients all the same. We can't just forget about all that. Besides, Me and Karuk came here for purely that. Hopping to find safty in your hands, and only to just be place right out their? I won't be having it. We will find our own place, even if it means leaving the north." She gently touch Karuk on the nose, hoping he understood her meaning. She didn't want this after all. She just wanted to make sure the both of them were safe. She turned to the buckskin, formally announcing him. "I'm sorry young sir but I won't be seeing this through. I understand your reasoning, but it's just too dangerous for us all. And I'm ure the others agree." She turned to glance at Rasta and then to Karuk, hoping they both did, if not atleast Karuk.

I'm awake - but my world is half asleep
Rasta's head was spinning. She no longer knew exactly what it was she wanted to do. There was too much arguing. There were too many comments. too many people. As much as she loved everyone it was way too difficult for her to understand. She could feel her anger slowly rising up inside of her. "I WANT YOU TO ALL SHUT UP!" she shouted, with a tiny growl upon her lips. Her audits pinned. Rearing up she slammed her hooves down sending a splay of snow out and around the area. "Based on all of these opinions and this mess of attitudes we are effin hiding away. You don't like it you can leave. I'm fed up with this. I am going away for a little bit," she snorted curling up in herself for a moment and stepping away from the three horses. "Karuk, you and your friend may go and hide wherever you would like. Apodis - if you so wish to be an idiot and deal with this weather be my guest. I on the other hand am going to take a look at something which I would prefer to do alone. If any of you follow - may God rest your little souls." she stole a daring glace at Apodis before kicking up her heels and bolting off into the trees.
She needed to clear her mind. She needed to be alone. Her hawk quickly flew in - screeching out and mimicking Rasta's anger before falling silent and coasting along above her...

You will find four bone earrings and a pendant necklace in a tree. However, how you decide to retrieve them and to divide them may prove a source of drama and trouble.

Stood of to the side, quietly watching as words were thrown through the air. Such havoc he had cause unintentionaly. He sighed. His ears then pricked as the cry from a bird shattered his riveree. A Large eagle flew at him, causing him to scramble backwards. What was with all these darn birds, so annoying they were. He watched as the Sabino mare pulled forwards to Rasta, asking her think again, not being to keen on waiting out in the cold. He glanced up into the greying sky, just intime to see the first snow fake fall after the break from the last falling. It landed upon his nostrils, then vanished from his warmth. Glancing back down in time to see Rasta's sudden outrage. "I WANT YOU TO ALL SHUT UP!" He flinched away from her, feeling her alphoric ties pull at his strings, making him feel like being more obientent towards her. "Based on all of these opinions and this mess of attitudes we are effin hiding away. You don't like it you can leave. I'm fed up with this. His pulse raced as the pale form moved further and further away, untill she was near invisibe to them. Glancing back towards the other, he gave a sadden look of confusion, though to be honest they were also tied up in their own biddings. At that he took off after Rasta, too worried for her safty to fully obey her. He couldnt live with himself if something happened to her, after all he were supposed to be the one protecting her.
