Adoption Form
I'm sure we all have those characters that we create, try out, and realize aren't for us. It's unfortunate, but sometimes we just get tired of own own charries, right?
However, we live in the age of recycling. Our adoption board is where we can put available characters up for players who might want them. It's another way to eliminate a character without having to kill him/her off. Someone might love the character you hate. Or, someone might have time for the character you still like, but simply don't have time for. Putting characters up for adoption will allow continuity and allow certain parts of the plot to grow.
Here is a form with the basics you can use if you are putting a character up for adoption:
Character name;;
Character link;;
Updated history/important events that have occurred that are not in the history;;
Terms of adoption;;
But we don't want some of our characters going to just anyone, right? The terms of adoption will provide the requirements that need to be met for the character to be adopted. Some may be completely open to anyone; others may require 'auditions' if you will, through a sample post in character messaged to the owner. Once a character has been adopted, the new owner may begin to rp with him/her. Out of courtesy to the original owner, if the new owner intends to kill the acquired character at any point, the new owner should notify the original creator.
