If you see my girl Just tell her I miss her smile Tell her I'm counting the minutes... Repla followed him into the tiny cave, allowing her body to rest up against his , their breathing yet again in sync. Her orbs turned towards the silky drape of the water again, watching the distorted view of the sun as it layed its brightness over the ground. She felt his neck wrap around her, pulling her even closer until she swore that their bodies melded together, and yet she wasn't worried at all. The way the light slid through the water caused rainbows to be tossed around the whole entire cave. "Repla," he said under his breath, "I love you,". She felt her heart jump and looked towards him, her audits forwards. "I love you too," she nickered, turning her head so that her maw was right against his ear, her voice so low that it would just be heard in his ear, maw tickling against it. Then, she moved her maw so that it was against his forelock and messing with it. Her breathing slowed down and then she dropped her head so that it was against his chest, closing her eyes and allowing herself to nearly fall asleep. Except for the fact that she wasn't tired, just too happy and content to care. It all seemed too perfect. But, if it could stay like this, then she wanted it to stay like this. And she desperately hoped that it could. [/blockquote] == Into the Mind .240 words .Pandora Radio rocks .Tell Her - Jesse McCartney

LAOCH
"I love you too."
The words, murmured into his ear, in Repla's soft sweet voice, sent an electric shock through him. Normally so calm, so passive, so controlled, Laoch felt as though he were burning, consumed by flame, dying yet so alive at the same time. She brushed his forehead with her lips before burrowing her head into his muscular chest where he was sure she could hear the wild tattoo of his heartbeat.
He loved her! And she loved him in return! The realization was sending him reeling, as if with these words she had pushed him off of the plateau and sent him down with the raging waterfall to who-knows-where. It was a scary thing, he realized. This was unfamiliar territory. She loved him. Had anyone ever loved him? Laoch, the abandoned, Laoch, the outcast, Laoch, the warrior, even Laoch, the ladies' man...none of them had experienced this sort of mutual love. He loved her. He was repeating the thought over and over again in his mind, trying to make sense of it all, and all the while her whispered confession kept replaying in his head: I love you too. I love you too. I love you too...
He draped his neck over her back again, wrapping her in a tighter embrace, feeling the warmth of her hide under the slick coat of water. Repla was all he wanted. She was all he needed, it seemed, in this moment. Rainbows spun in dizzying patterns above their heads, and the water poured down before them. He breathed in the moist air, and exhaled the warm air into her back. For once in his life, he stopped and didn't allow himself to think. He simply leaned into the red mare beside him and enjoyed the world with a quiet mind and closed eyes.

Repla grinned as she fept his head upon her back, his warm breath spreading across it causing her muscles to ripple slightly. Moving out from under him she slipped out from the water area and back onto the field, shaking out her coat and staring back at him. "Laoch. Shall we have some fun?" she questioned, tilting her head and lifting her tail ever so slightly, allowing the bottom portion of it to loop seductively around her right hind flint. "I trust you to show me," she said lightly, looking over her shoulder and waiting for him to come back to her side. The sunlight radiated down on her back, already drying out her coat and causing it to gleam even more. "I trust you, come," she said, allowing her orbs filled with nothing but love - the innocence still sparking back there - and trust. She was ready, to give herself away. She loved him. She wanted to stay with him. He knew his way around this sort of thing, he would help her, right? She trusted him to make sure she was comfortable. After all, it was something mates did, and though she waa innocent she didnt doubt that it would hurt at least the first time. But she wouldnt fight - not if it was him. Yes, she was ready, but was he willing after the first incident? =Into the Mind .245 words i believe .Repla tried to offer, she wasnt sure how to offer. LAOCH
The moment seemed to hang like a dewdrop from a wildflower, stretching and reaching, seeming almost to break any minute, perched precariously on the lip of something fragile, but never doing so until suddenly--plop!--it falls to the ground and splashes. That was what it was like with Repla in this hidden little cove, wanting time to stretch on forever but knowing that it could come to an end at any moment.
Suddenly, it was over, as Repla slipped out from under his neck, splashing through the liquid curtain into the sunlight. Had he scared her away again? He followed slowly, head tilted questioningly. To his surprise she was standing knee deep in the fragrant grass, back leg cocked flirtatiously and head gazing back over her shoulder. What was this now? "Laoch. Shall we have some fun?" she asked steadily, looking earnestly into his face. "I trust you to show me," she continued, "I trust you. Come."
Oh. Did she know what she was offering? Did she feel obligated? He never should have told her he loved her if she felt that this was how she had to pay for it? Her tail was tossed lightly to the side, inviting him closer...closer...he took a step forward...and another...it would be so easy...He strode forward now, towards the mare, preparing himself for what he was about to do. Something he had never done before. Three more steps...two more...one...and he was there. His shoulder brushed against her rump, that tantalizing tail, but he kept walking, walking past what she was offering, walking until he stood face to face with her. Tracing the contours of her jaw, water dripped from his muzzle. "Repla..." he whispered. No. Louder. He must be louder. A murmur now: "Repla...Repla...we don't have to do this. Please. Don't feel like we have to do this because of what I said. I do love you...but..." He stopped himself from touching her, pulled his face from hers and looked her in the eye, concern shining in his own brown orbs. Back to the whisper.
"...is this what you want, Repla? Truly what you want?" He watched her, prepared to walk away if her answer was no. He would never force her if she felt obligated. Never. --behind the post-- 404 words she'd better be pretty darn sure!

Replas audits perked up even higher - if that was even possible - and she immediately relaxed under his touch. "Im ready, Laoch. I want this. I promise." she stepped forwards, allowing her maw to touch his once more before running it up his jaw line, lipping at his eyes gently before down to his back and nudging him, her rump now very close to his front end because of how short she was. "I love you. And I want to give myself completely, please. I trust you Laoch. I just dont know how to go about it..." she whispered, reaching back with her maw and lipping at his ears. LAOCH
"I love you. And I want to give myself completely, please. I trust you Laoch. I just don't know how to go about it..."
Oh. No. She meant it, he could see it in her eyes, and he wanted it too. But he couldn't do it, not when he knew perfectly well he would leave her after he'd done it. Not when he knew doing this would break both of their hearts.
If only she'd said no, told him she wasn't ready, given him permission to just walk away and keep walking forever because he knew it was what he was going to do eventually. But there she was, moving forward, sliding along his side, positioning herself so that her rump was directly in front of him. He couldn't. But he must.
Once again, he reared lightly on his hind legs, but this time, he was behind her, not beside her. Once again, he stretched his weight over her back, but this time, he was much closer. Once again, he closed his eyes, but this time, they were not closed in play but half in excitement, half in fear for what this would do to them. The sun shone hot down on his back, and a light mist rolled in around them, shielding them even further from the rest of the world. He was on top of the world, they were up here on top of the world together, one creature beneath the clouds now. It was like earlier, where they had been joined at the nose, they inhaled quietly together and exhaled in perfect sync. They were natural together, as if they had been created for each other. He had never felt this before. Yes, he had felt this same sense of giddy pleasure, but there hadn't been anything deeper underneath it.
And then again, just as soon as it had begun, it was over. He worked his way off of her, careful not to be too rough with her still-healing wound. He slid his front half to the ground, leg exhausted from bearing most of his own weight for who knows how long he had been there. He caught his breath, immediately moving around to Repla's face and meeting her eyes. He said not a word, but nuzzled her forehead gently and simply breathed in her scent. The sun was beginning to set, and in the semidarkness, he did his best to read her expression. Would she still be glad that he had done what they wished?

Repla felt him rest his weight on her body. She had locked her legs in preperation for it. Only to relax pretty quickly, finding a simple way to steady herself under his weight. It was soon after she could feel him twisting his pelvis and thrusting into her. The first one caused a bit of pain and shocked her more than anything. But, the second thrust was much easier her bosy beginning to relax more and more. And the more she relaxed the more pleasure she felt. With each tilt of his pelvis she did the same with hers, allowing the two of them to move even more in sink, her body radiating with pleasure so much she let out a few nickers of happiness. Turning her head to face him she rubbed her maw against his head, allowing her body to think and do as it wished, not wanting the moment to end, her eyes falling closed, audits perked greatly. When he dismounted she staggered a bit, gathering her balance now that she didnt have the extra weight to accomidate. He walked around to face her, and she currently was feeling a high, a high she had never felt before. "I love you," she whispered tracing his jawline with her maw and lipping at him gently, closing her slate eyes. She was tired now though, insanely tired. She wanted to sleep. And after all, it was dark now. The sun had just finished setting. Opening her eyes again she nickered pleasently, "join me for a slumber, go back down in the morning?" she suggested, nudging his shoulder quietly. She still had her innocence, just not as much. She perferred to view the world innocently. That was who she was. But they loved each other. He wouldnt leave her. She always had him. Quietly, she allowed herself to drop down on the ground, curl her head up ontopnof her legs and waited on him to join her. [/blockquote] ==into the mind .331 words .dontcha just love meh mare

LAOCH
"I love you."
Repla traced the contours of his face softly, looking into his eyes. The words stabbed at his heart. He loved her too. So much. Didn't he? What about the part of him that was hurting at the very thought of leaving her? He had never felt that before. Was that love? He didn't know.
Spent from the encounter, he blew softly into Repla's forelock, closing his eyes and memorizing the structure of her face. Every inch of his Repla was beautiful, so beautiful...he ran his muzzle up over her face, down her, neck, tenderly over her wound, down along her belly, past her rump, tracing his muzzle up the other side of her body until he reached her eyes again. She was exhausted, and so was he. The roan mare seemed to read his thoughts, asking "join me for a slumber, go back down in the morning?" Yes, it sounded perfect to him.
"Yes, my dear, sleep now." Nuzzling her should as she lay, he murmured into her ears, "Repla, you know I would never want to hurt you." He shifted his weight, standing guard over her outstretched body. "Always remember that I would never want to hurt you..." He was starting to drift off, eyes closing fast now.
"Always remember...that I love you."
And with his last whispered breath, he succumbed to slumber.

And now that I'm strong I have figured out How this world turns cold and it breaks from my soul Repla shook her coat out, standing up and stretching out her muscles. But, she was in a different place. The air was cold, the land around her dead or dying. There was absolutely no real life that was sustainable. At least, not in these lands. She frantically began to search. Where on earth was Laoch? Hadn't he been right there, right above her but a few minutes before? She had sworn she had felt his muzzle against her shoulder, then whispering into her ears words she had just barely managed to make out. Where was he? What was going on. Something was right. She shifted, and she could smell an odd scent slithering through the area and into her nostrils. That smell. It wasn't one all too familiar. It was musty, and choking. Her lungs were protesting against it, unable to get the correct fill of oxygen from the polluted air. Looking the direction the wind was coming from she noticed that there was an ominous cloud of grey smoke stampeding through the air and heading closer and closer to her. Each bit closer she was getting choked. Allowing her gaze to fall down to the ground she saw bright towers of reds, oranges, and yellows billowing upwards in a wavy, nasty, and uncontrollable manner. It was eating up the last of the livable foliage that was around her. What exactly was going on? Fire! Oh Lord. It was a fire! Fire was not good. It hurt others. She didn't know how she knew that it hurt pepole. But she knew that it hurt them, and she didn't want to be under such a horrible things grasp. Curling around onto her hindquarters she spun in a circle allowing herself to bolt forwards. Her muslces rippling under her thin pelt. All of her power was easily coming to her limbs and she burst past the line of dead shrubbage out towards a bridge. She didn't know where she was going though. She just knew she needed to run in the opposite direction the burning fury. IT was killing everything in its path. So she needed to get away from it. That was how it was supposd to work. That was how she would go about it. Her nostrils were flaring, allowing her system to take in as much air as was required for her system to continue moving at maximum speed. Her audits pinned back against her head so tightly that you couldn't even see them as her mess of a forelock flew back against her poll. Her hooves plodded against some different substance. Confused, she looked down to see a fallen, dead tree. Possibly an oak tree. After all, it was huge in stature and no where near weak. So, allowing herself to continue on. Just as she reached the other side the fire engulfed the tree, spreading quickly to the dead grasses on her side. She leapt forwards again, taking two strides in one huge one and then continuing only a couple of lengths ahead of the flames that were continuing to grow larger and larger. She could hear the cawing of animals in the distance and looking upwards she saw the looming figures of vultures circling the area. Oh, God, no. She didn't want to die. Keep moving. There had to be an end somewhere. Maybe a pool of water? The fire couldn't hurt the water. It couldn't hurt her if she was in the water. Continuing to move forwards she slid to a stop as the world seemed to end in front of her. Her hooves clattered attempting to stop herself. At the very last second she managed to stop, some rocks clattering over the edge and down to the abyss below. She let out a shattering neigh and twisted so that she could see the fire behind her. It was getting closer and closer to her. Which death was she to choose? One from falling and shattering her body to a million pieces, quick and relatively painless. Or one from being burnt to a crisp, her whole body writhing in agony every second. She didn't want either and she looked desperately to the vultures ahead, circling in closer and closer to her. No. No. Get away. Get away. She didn't want to die.
Repla twisted and shot her head up, taking in deep breaths. Her whole body covered in a layer of sweat as she jerked to a standing position, her head smashing into his stomach. Immediately, a nicker of fear escaped her lips as she backed away. She shook her head, forcing herself back into reality as she breathed in the fresh air. Her ears lifting upwards again. "Sorry. I'm so sorry." she apologized, looking to him and gently touching his shoulder in sadness. Her whole body still insanely tense from the dream, allowing herself to take in the completely different scenery from the dream. "I didn't mean to hit you," she apologized again, backing away in embarrassment. She needed to calm down. She needed to get back to herself. What was going on with her? What was that dream supposed to mean? Was there no way out of her life? What was going to happen? Why couldn't she understand it. Nothing was making sense. Things needed to make sense. They needed to. There was no way around it. Just make sense. Please. You have absolutely no other option. Just make sense. She looked up to him from behind her rusty forelock, her slate eyes still traumatized from the nightmare as she tried to push it back. Calm down. Just calm down... ==Into the Mind .955 words .Pandora Radio .Had too much homework this week.

LAOCH
The rosy dawn was illuminating the sky, and he opened his eyes slowly. Repla was slumbering fitfully at his feet, he would wake her, but she was so tired. Slowly, he took a step away. She didn't stir.
Walking over to the pond, Laoch lowered his head for a drink. Memories floated back from yesterday, splashing out of this very pond towards Repla...how it had felt so right to be near her...how she had told him she loved him...what a beautiful mess he had gotten himself into. He exhaled, sending little ripples floating out from the shore.
Laoch turned and looked at the mare that still slept behind him. She looked so peaceful now, sleeping there on the ledge. She was calling him back to sleep...to relax...to enjoy. Time seemed to slow when he was with her; he didn't know why. Mulling over this sleepily, he returned to her side and resumed his post over her sleeping form. He had just started to drift off when her sleep grew more fitful. She was sweating and twitching, ears pinned tightly to her head. What could make his Repla so tortured? He didn't like seeing her in such discomfort. Laoch was about to wake her when her head suddenly flew up, her eyes open and wild. She smacked into his belly, startling him. He jolted backwards in surprise, and she stumbled away from him, apologizing and wincing. Her eyes were huge and full of fear. He stared back at her, unnerved. What was wrong?
"Repla?"
He moved closer, head tilted in concern. "Is everything all right?" He stepped near and laid his head across her back comfortingly. "You're safe, my dear. It's all right..."
