Well. I was trying to create a character tonight and started getting frustrated because it. was. hard.
Anywho, I remembered finding this online before, and I think it'd be useful to post as a helpful link in the character form. Basically, what it is is a character test for those creating new characters to make sure that they're interesting and fresh (: After all, nobody's perfect, and nobody likes a perfect character, right? It's helped me realize that I need to add more flaws to my own characters, and I think it'd come in handy if people need ideas of what not to do and perhaps what to do. So, without further ado, here is the Mary Sue test that I found online: www.springhole.net/writing/marysue.htm
[for those wondering, a Mary Sue character is annoyingly perfect and one-dimensional. wikepedia also has a good explanation if you google the term]
