They can take away your territory, but they can't take away your home. It would be cruel and unusal punishment if anyone ever found a way. Even with the last round of wars though, Perseus hadn't lost his. He hadn't lost home, family, friends, or any of the other awful things that came with war. It was astounding really, to think that he could avoid so much. He dodged it, though he wasn't certain he had kept all of himself. Physically he had been fine. He'd been treated by a healer after all the major battles were over, and he was as perfect as a newborn colt. He was home now, standing as far north as he could go. The beach was an odd place, and he could recall odd company finding him here before. Patience would take him though, and he wouldn't push his luck. He was seeking out one individual alone, and he could wait all day to find her. The blind queen of the North, the well known lady of luck who kept all of them safe and sane. Or... something. Rasta was the only person he wanted to see this morning, and he had all day to wait.
The sun was rising too, over the water, lighting it with ridges of pink and red. It made him laugh, the idea of the red dawn. Myth said that blood had been spilled the night before, but there was no way to prove that. He was content, as long as it was in his own beloved North. All the more reason to talk to Rasta though, so that he might establish some way to make his move. The entire world would be better off as long as he could achieve his goal. How though, that was the question. The very best thing he could do was both plead his case with the grand lady, and ask for her advice and potential assistance. It was rumored that there was one who stood by her side now. Perhaps there would be a helping hand extended when he found her, or at least approval for his actions. He stood there waiting though, glorying in the morning sunrise, and waiting for her to arrive. He had faith she would, for this was the domain of the alpha in particular. The only outstanding irony in the situation was that he hadn't met her already. After eight years, he probably should have...

This is war and it's on tonight so get up and fight, get up and fight Rasta slid through the trees - taking care to leap over the rivers and made sure that she didn't make any splashing noises. She was more worried than she had ever been with the war coming back. She didn't want to have to die - she didn't want her lands taken over. And she knew, if worst came to worst she wouldn't be able to save it. Throwing her head up to the sky she continued forwards - the spectral hawk a few feet above her and looking out over the world around the two of them. It wasn't long before she reached the beach. She felt a grand feeling of calm as the low winds messed with her mane and her hawk perched onto the tree. It wasn't long before she sensed the presence of another horse though. "Hello, what brings you out here?" she said quietly, lifting her head up and standing a bit taller - even though she was a mere 14.2 hands high. She held a bit of a soft demeanor about her - ruling more with love than by an iron fist. That of which would not be helping her in the oncoming wars. In the depths of her mind- she hoped that he was not here to work for Rama and get rid of her... [/blockquote] ==into the mind . 219 words . This is War - Sick Puppies

Percy was not as taken aback as he expected to be when the lady emerged from the wood. She greeted him as cordially as he could expect given the place and the time, and inquired of his business. He would tell her nothing but truthfully what was on his mind, and hope that he would be judged by fair course. There was so much stress in the world right now, how could she be anything but cautious about his approach? He cursed himself for not having introduced himself before this mess broke out. "My lady, my name is Perseus. I am a warrior of these Northern lands. I have lived here my entire life my lady, however I have found no peace with the coming war. I resided deep within the lands, avoiding all that I could, training with a well taught mentor. I'm afraid the time has come for me to use my perhaps barbaric talents, and do what I can to save the North." He paused for a moment, both wanting it to sink in with some effect, and trying to figure out what would come next. "I deeply love this land, and would find it a great shame if it fell under the hands of the tyrant. More than anything I want to defend my home, and perhaps my lady, if you are willing, teach others how to resist his reign. Ah, how oft' I use too many words for a simple idea. My lady, if you were so willing, I would like to organize a group of warriors, and spearhead a movement against Ramaskith from the North. I am not an Alpha, not Oser, though it is my deepest desire to see Ramaskith toppled. Oser has other priorities, and I'd like to make it mine to keep the North out of Ramaskith's hands."
Again, Percy struggled with the words he needed. "I am not the most experienced leader Miss, I only fought for a short while at the end of the last wars, however I would consider myself talented, conceited though it may be. Some of the most promising leaders in history started at the very lowest of points. The North is my home miss, and I'd rather choke on seaweed than loose it to someone who would treat is as less." He bowed his head at the thought, actually saddened. Worried as well though, that he would be accused as acting as Ramaskith's spy. All above and heaven forbid, that should ever be. He'd die before becoming enslaved to such a creature. Maybe he was more than he ever thought.

I'm hearing voices all around I'm hearing voices calling out, what would they say?
Rasta waited, her hawk circling the air around her before landing delicately upon her back. It didn't deter her from coming towards this stag. In fact it said it would be smart. And as much as she despised the hawk she did trust it with her heart. Listening intently to what this stag had to say she paused. "Ramaskith does not know my full name. Please - tell me my full name. If you get it correct you may go ahead and spear this movement. I would like these lands to be as safe as possible." she explained before taking a short step back and allowing her hawk to lift off of her back and flap so that it rested a top of Perseus's back. He had the basics of respect - something which she found refreshing in such a time. And she desperately hoped that he had no ties back to Rama. Shock was the first reaction, when he was asked to return with the lady's name. Well he knew of her, but how was he supposed to know her if they'd never met. He couldn't very well just say that he didn't know it though, for that would be allying himself with Ramaskith in her mind. Not that everyone knew her name. That was the point! He was supposed to be on the good side, not the evil one. "My lady, as reasonable as it is to say that Ramaskith knows not your name, it is to say that I knoweth it not either. It is not common knowledge, which I would suggest is the point. Might I venture outwards for another question, one that is still not common knowledge, but that would be more open even to the people of your land? After all my lady, I've resided here my whole life, and I've never encountered you before now. When does their best to live in seclusion, they do often succeed."
He bowed his head before looking back up towards her. "With the very best of intentions, my lady, I can not tell you that which I don't know. But perhaps if I share something precious of my own, that will make of up for the lack of knowledge."
Not that he knew what he would tell her..

life goes on it gets so heavy the wheel breaks the butterfly, every tear, a waterfall Percy immediately pulled over his words. He didn't know her name - that much was obvious - but he did make a good point upon the fact that those that wanted to be secluded usually were. "so I would presume that your exit from seclusion was to help us out in this fight. I admire that, I do," she explained, bobbing her head slightly as he bowed his before looking back up towards her. Then, he offered his own deal - offering something precious of his own to the deal. She paused to think for a moment - allowing her hawk to curl up around her withers. "It had better be something good, darling," she said - shifting her weight just a tad first. [/blockquote] ==into the mind .123 words .Not a lot of muse - but we need to get this pumpinnggg
