Just Like the Old Days, With You and I, And We'll Be Together Again... Risquè dragged her sharp hooves along the slushy ground, her scent finally starting to fade as spring approached nearer and nearer. She fought back tears, thoughts of her previous mate flashing through her mind. She couldn't take this. This wasn't fair. It just, couldn't. Why must she never see him again? Was she being punished for something? Her thoughts mixed, the war and Ramaskith joining the one of Karai. They had been on opposing sides, and she had been whisked away by her asshole of a father. Demanding everything of her and treating her like shit. He never had done her any good, only screwing up her life worse and worse. Her green eyes started to shift red, anger running through her veins. Oh, how she despised him so much. She had been ordered by Rama to find more warriors. Scour the lands, try the north. Well, she had gone south. Rama reminded her of her dad so much. Demanding, and not doing anything except for themselves. He could care less about other horses. She shook her head, trying to push the thoughts away.
Risk lifted her cranium, scanning the horizon, though she could care less about Ramaskith's task. It's not like she would get anything from it anyways, and the battlefield was stressful. Way too stressful. She had needed out, and she needed to clear her thoughts. All she could think of was Rai though, with his gentle face and soft blue eyes which resembled a calm ocean so perfectly, always so caring. She couldn't help the tears that poured from her eyes, which had shifted to a dark purple. Big sobs heaved her body, and she trembled, locking her legs, trying not to collapse. No, she needed to stop. She couldn't keep doing this. It was pathetic. The breath caught in her throat, she couldn't let him go though. Just couldn't. He was her soul mate, she was sure of it. her body trembled harder, her lungs constricting as she tried to breath, yet it caught in her throat, and she couldn't go on.
Risk's blue roan form collapsed to the ground, trembling, shaking, heaving. Loud sob pierced the air, and she curled in closer to herself, forming a tight ball. She couldn't breath easily, it was forced, labored, yet she hadn't done anything that would normally cause that. She was pathetic. Over-obsessive freak and all she wanted was to find Rai again. To be able to rest against his warm pelt, just being around him made her calm, happy. And she loved him, so so much. She couldn't get over him. No matter how hard she tried. She squeezed her eyes shut. Wanting to dream of him. That's the only place she ever saw him anymore, and it was almost real... almost.

He slinked through the shadows, hoping that niether mares up'ed and followed him. He wasnt in the mood to play games anymore. All he could think about was her. He pushed down those feelings, hoping that he would see her once more. He sighed. Why did he have to punish himself like this? He had to stop doing it, stop thinking about her all the time. But somethimes it just happened without his relization. Like back there, the mare who named herself Seraph. She was so much like his little queen. The way she held herself, how quickly her temper flared. He chuckled softly to himself, he loved that about her best, she was so cute when she got angry, then suddenly went quite. He smiled remebering to good old days, the times they played in the meadows, roaming around without a care. His parents had been at the bottom of the pack, and hers where at the top, thus when she came of age her father set her up with another alpha, shipping her of to distant lands. Though he had managed to trak her, following after and soon ended up headlong into a war. Though before that he had found her again, only for her to be ripped rom his side once again. She was definatly too much like her, and moments like that could not be helped. He had had to pull away from them, no matter how much he really enjoyed the company. He just couldnt bare it. His lose for her was too much in this situation.
The trees began to diminish behind him, a weak fog rolling around his hooves. Soon pulling out into the open, a low lying fog covered the ground, making it difficult for him to see where he were treading. He pushed forwards never the less, walking at a slow rate, hoping not to walk right into a boiling mud pit, which seemed pretty logical in this area. It emited a sort of eriee silence, nothing moved, nothing lived, but the underlying fog. It twisted this way and that rolling and reforming. like some kind of deamon. At that a small clearing of fog made a path way in front of him, allowing him to move without worring where he trod. He moved foward with a presice stride, his heavy limbs moving gracefully like that of a dancers. each stride causeing a vibration through the ground, alerting whatever lurked around, silently waiting for their next meal. Fog rolled around him, but didnt seem to touch him, it rocoiled back from him as if he carried a shield, or his skin was dipped in poisen.
As he advanced through the meadow, a soft gentle sound reached his audits. The sobs of someone crying. He paused for a while listening again. His audits flicking around like miniturized satalites. He advanced forwards, slowly following the sounds. The sobs grew louder and louder the further he moved. A greying form loomed up out of the fog, though was still sem covered, just a thin veil. They were curled up on the ground, breathing heavy, crying so much. If they had not made all thhis crying on could simply think it were a large boulder, for you could not make out its head, just a large form sprung out of the ground. He took a few steps forwards, a litle wary, unsure what this could be. Perhaps it were a trap? perhaps this was the deamon creating the fog, who knew what could be out there, what was real and what was fake. His mane and tail gently blew out in the currents, blowing like a genle wavy ocean. He blanded in with the fog, though his darken legs and face stood out a little, looking more like shadows than an equine. "Are....Are you okay?" He asked unsure of what would happen next. A pit formed in the deppest part of his stomache, a longing for something. He couldn't work it out thought, it was too strange for him, something he had not felt in a long , long time.

I get a feeling that I never never never never had before, no no I get a good feeling, yeah Risk layed there, giant sobs heaving her body, and cool fog started slowly creeping in. It chilled her pelt, yet she felt nothing. She hated having these breakdowns, which always consumed her. She faintly heard a whisper of grass being brushed aside, with heavy footsteps. Had Ramaskith finally realized her absence? Was he finally coming for her, only to punish her and finally kill her off? Would she then reunite with her lost lover? All so many questions, which would remain unanswered. Risk curled in closer to herself, the fog settling eerily over her, lipping at her coat. She was numb to pain know though. She would never feel real pain again. The pain of loss would always consume her, she would never be satisfied. Never.
Thoughts swirled through her mind, flashing before her eyes, causing the pain to worsen, her eyes stinging with fresh hot tears. Why was this so damn hard? Why had her father whisked her away, tried to force her upon an Alpha, who she could care less about. All she wanted was Rai. Her Rai. But, he was gone. Gone. Forever. She would never see him again. Risk squeezed her eyes shut tightly, darkness starting to surround her.
Risk lipped at the cool water, enjoying the chill it brought to her stomach. A whinny. Deep. Could it be? Risk raised her head, gold eyes searching, looking. There He was actually there. Was it a dream? No. Rai was there, before, his giant form bounding toward sher. She had finally found him again, reunited. She bounded towards him, happy tears filling her eyes, "Rai? Is it really you?" A slow nod, and she finally met. She couldn't speak. It was him! She spent the next days doing everything she wished with him, happy, content. That sound, the sound of millions of hoofbeats, perfectly in sync. It had started, blood curdling screams filled the air, making her hair stand on end. Ramaskith clashed with Oser, locked upon a deadly battle, and she was shipped off again, to fight with him, on the opposite side of Rai. She secretly searched for him within the war. Where was he? He should be here! But, he wasn't. No- this wasn't happening. 'Are....Are you okay?-'
Risk stirred, waking from her tremendous nightmare. 'Are....Are you okay?' The voice sound muffled, worried. What did the equine care? No one cared about Risk. Except- Risk swallowed, curling in tighter, forcing herself to stop crying. She shifted, pushing her legs underneath her, and she lifted her head. Tears still blurred her sight and she tried to blink the away. She slowly stood, the fog seemed as if it rose with her. "Y-yeah. I'm fine." Risk said, trying not to sound irritated. She shook her head, trying to hide the tears, and she wiped the on her foreleg, as if itching it. She lifted her dished head to look at the stranger. Worry bubbled from the shadowed form, and RIsk narrowed her eyes slightly. "Who, are you?" Risk asked, and she took a wary step back. The form shifted, making his form easier to see. Her heart stopped, and her knees buckled. She blinked, this wasn't real. No, no, no. This was just another dream. Another nightmare. It was so real though. She stumbled back a little. This wasn't real. "R-Rai? W-What are you doing?" Her voice trembled and shook with her body. She collapsed, her heart seeming as if it paused in her chest. Stuttering- faltering. Just another nightmare. Like always. A nightmare within a nightmare. Just layered upon themselves. Finding ways to torture her worse and worse.
Risk shakily pulled her head up, looking at Rai- or the figment of her imagination. But, it was so real. Could it be?
