Gem is still developing as she is young, however she is maturing into a fighter and one who will never let her circumstances get her down. She had the iron will to live when she was abandoned not too long ago and that spirit will carry her through life.
When she’s not fighting for survival, Gem is a sweet being, though can be stubborn if she thinks that she’s right. She is a little bit scarred from her experience early on in life and cannot bear to be alone. She is not naturally a timid soul, but is in constant fear of abandonment again.

Gem was born to a Belgian stallion and a Thoroughbred mare. Her mother was doting and loved Gem dearly, but was killed by wolves when Gem was only three months old. Her grudging father who had stuck around the foal only for love of Gem’s mother promptly abandoned her as soon as the Thoroughbred died.
