Crunching footsteps, depressions in the snow. A sigh, a shake of a head. The neutral lands were so peaceful, calm, and quiet. Considering the fighting that was happening not so far away. Ramaskith, invading; Oser, fighting back. Why did everything come back to fighting? And over land? People? It was so stupid, and useless, and for what? To say that you were 'the best'? Because you beat everyone? The golden mare sighed again, striking the ground. Although she hated them for what was happening, she couldn't help wanting to take part in the fights, to do something to prevent the invevitable future. Then she would just be a hypocrite though. Don't fight! It's stupid and wrong! And I'll fight you to make you stop. How stupid was that? The air around her was chilly, but for that she was grateful. It fit. The world was in a state of grief with what was happening. Ramaskith had started the war again a year ago, in the cold, bitter season. It only seemed right that he would finish it in such the same fashion. The thought of him taking over, of having to do as he said; it made her shudder with disgust. She had escaped the East a long time ago, and now it was running after her? That didn't seem right. She shifted, standing in the middle of a dead field. Where the grass longed to reach to the skies and say hello to the sun again. But all that's there are clouds; grey clouds to cover everything until brighter days come back around. She snorted softly, looking at those clouds. The ominous, billowing grey appearance seeming much like smoke, where on a better day they could be called 'fluffy.' She sighed again, lowering her head as the cold winds whipped through her mane and tial, though she didn't bother to sheild her face from it. The cold was all around her, in the air, the actions of others, in her heart. It was all cold.

[glow=white,2,300]Mamba[/glow] The growl of a mountain lion went came from the deepest, darkest parts of the little stallion’s mind just so he could snort at it. It was the one who killed his mother. The little stallion didn’t know how it could be the same big cat since it was never seen again or maybe it was the one he fought and killed. Who knew? All he knew was this big cat was a figment of his dreams but the little stallion snorted and moved his front right hoof in his sleep just to rush in to battle. But the battle never began again for when the two forces were about to meet his vision went black and the little stallion woke up.
When the brown eyes fluttered open all they saw was white all around the tree he had slept under which caused the black stallion to raise his head cause what snow was on his neck and head to fall off. Could of swore this was dry land when I went to sleep? The thought ran through his mind as he tried to get up only to fall to the ground due to his front right hoof falling asleep while he slept. Oh well great. Now I have to wait. The black stag thought before snorting out in frustration before pulling his legs back under him and waited to feel all his legs again. While the stag waited he had put his head down, which was concealed due to the snow. So if you looked in his direction all you would see is a snow pile under a tree. Just as he put his head down his ears went up when he heard crunching going on in the snow. He was in neutral territory so if it was a horse nothing would happen but if it was something else then he would be in for some deep trouble.
So just as the crunching stopped the stag brought his head up only to see a golden mare standing a little ways from his tree. His ears perked forward at the mare before shaking his head and telling himself he wasn’t one of those arrogant stallions. Once the stag regained his mind he snorted before trying once again to get up from the ground only instead of defeat he tasted victory by being on all four hooves again. He raised his head in accomplishment before shaking off the rest of the snow from his body. With the stag now snow free once more he looked back towards the mare only to whinny this time as if to say a friendly hello to her. Since it was only right to do that or so his mom had taught him to do so and who was he to turn down a mom’s advice.

Anniston whirled, seeing a dark equine rise from the snow beneath a tree. He whinned a greeting and she froze, staring at him. She thought she was alone out here. She silently cursed herself for not paying better attention to her surroundings. Though, judging by where the stag emerged from, he was hiding anyway. Her eyes narrowed, wondering what he was hiding from, or waiting for. She whickered softly in return though, walking forward cautiously. He was smaller than her, she would have an easy time fighting back if he chose to make that move. "Hello," she said simply, as she got closer to the stallion. She briefly wondered which side of the war he was on, and if she should just turn and leave. With everything that was going on, perhaps it was best to avoid others until the war was decided. Though, it didn't matter much to her, she guessed. It would be dangerous either way. If he belonged to Ramaskith it's not like the state of the war would affect much. He didn't appear to though, and possibly he didn't have a side in this stupid, useless war. But she shouldn't be so quick to judge. Often times Ramaskith would choose those that didn't appear as if they would side with him, just because they could easily fool the other side. Anni remained cautious, waiting for the stag to do something that would set a trigger off in her mind. One can never be too careful in times like these. Unknown dangers lurked around every corner, and many were losing their lives because they stepped forward too trustingly. She wouldn't be one of them.
